Hand of Midas From Alladin Musical?
This giant hand sculpture was on the roof of the New Amsterdam Theater across from our
Hampton Inn Manhattan/Times Square Central hotel. That theater was playing the Alladin musical while we were
there so I assumed this is supposed to be the Hand of Midas. This photo was taken from our hotel window.

We rode the New York Subway System to just about everywhere on this trip. We rarely used a taxi or Uber.
There is so much traffic in New York City that it took forever to get anywhere in a car on the streets.
The subways ran extremely frequently and could get anywhere very fast bypassing all the traffic on the streets above.
Many of the subways also operate around the clock.

Taking The New York Subway
From The Freedom Tower
To The Empire State Building
Everywhere we went in the New York Subway there were
buskers to entertain us!
(I learned the word
busking
when I was in London and saw a sign that said "NO BUSKING" on a wall in front of the Shakespear Open Air Globe Theater.
When I saw it, I was wondering what "busking" was and why they would not want someone to do it there.
If you don't know what busking is and would like to know,

West Side East Side Dividing Line
Directory In Front Of The Empire State Building.
A multi-level '50s-themed diner with singing servers and an extensive menu of American classics. The waiters sing during service.
This is in the heart of the theater district in New York City and many of the waiters are current or aspiring spingers for the
many broadway musical venues. There was always a long line and long wait to get into this restaurant.
