They offer a number of vegetable dishes as lower cost sides so you can purchase a variety of dishes without having to buy them as full price meals. The food was absolutely excellent.
This is one of our favorite jazz venues in London. We've been here a few times on our prior trips to London. They have a full bar including wine plus beers by the bottle. For food they only have a few pre-packaged snacks.
To get here we walked to the nearby Aldgate East London Underground station, took the "Hammersmith & City" line one stop to Whitechapel. From Whitechapel Station we changed to the London Overground and took that to "Dalston Junction". From there we walked 0.3 miles to the Vortex Jazz Bar. Coming back to the hotel we took an Uber that was only about 8 GBP.
